Trains in Chicago

Some of the Metra lines are mapped, and this seems to be a good idea, not because people should be using Waze on the train, but because they do, and having the tracks mapped keeps their activity from messing up the nearby roads.

But now someone's paving CTA lines. Not sure about these, especially since so many of them are right above streets. Anyone seeing any problems caused by (or fixed by) mapping these?

Oh good grief! I've been working on the map out to the west where the bike trails cross roads and causing map errors. I'll have to keep an eye on this in the city. There's enough problems in the city with alleys, don't need the el tracks in my opinion

The CTA, elevated train lines should not be mapped. No value and more than likely it's going to cause problems. If they are overlaid over the streets, possible problems such as:

* confusion when mapping
* possibly Wazers may get snapped to or invalid routes, even if these are not displayed in the client

My recommendation is to delete them.
