Usual Route not preferred route anymore

Just wanted to see if someone else has started getting this issue.

If you route from Charlotte, NC to Orlando, FL. It use to route you correctly at the I-95 / I-26 Interchange.

Now it is trying to route you on I-95N around 3 cloverleafs to get to I-95 S. Livemap directions do show taking the exit ramp as an alternate. Plus I have gotten to UR's in that area that say the client is trying to route it the cloverleaf way.

Anyone else see this happen on your normal routes? There haven't been any changes in this area since middle of April. Which I verified over the last few map updates were working correctly. Anyone seeing anything I may be missing?

I don't see any obvious issue. If no one else does either, you may want consider delete the Exit 169A: I-95 S / Savannah and junctioning in a new one to see if that helps. Yep, we should not have to do this...

That was my next step but what was weird is the routing was working correctly before this last round of map updates and nothing changed that I know of. I last check this route on May 31. That is what has me a little confused.

Maybe there is some corruption with that tile that we can't see in the editor. Rebuilding should force the tile to update which hopefully will resolve. There may be simpler ways to force the tile to update, but almost as easy to redo the ramp and be more confident of a fix quicker.

Well I went ahead and rebuilt that ramp just to be safe. Now I will question that if tile corruption was the cause would it not route through the ramp at all? Why I say that the "alternate" route it comes up with does route it through the ramp. It isn't just first choice.

Edited: After rebuilding just tried to run the route again and it now routes correctly through the ramp.

For a second there I was thinking you meant realtime map updates. :lol:

I would normally think it was a momentary glitch in the routing server but I have I think 3 UR's at the interchange that probably are basically saying the same error with the clover leafs.

Yes, something surely was wrong there. Very strange though that the fix was immediate. I would not expected the routing to change until the tiles built.

The biggest concerns is that there should not be a problem that a map update fixes that we can't see as a problem in the editor. That the routing was fixed right away causing something like a jaw drop. Unable to be explained based on what we / I know.
