I believe this is possible from your Dashboard page. Email address should be simple and fast. Username may be prone to issues. Someone recently posted that they had done this successfully. It took a couple of days to take effect, though.

There was a recent post from Waze saying they disabled changing usernames in the dashboard and that you would have to put in a support request to do so...

Type "Username Change" into the Quick Help box...
At the bottom of the results it comes up with (if any) is an Email link, click that and fill out the form that shows up.

User name area in my dash board is grayed out.
Were you able to change your user name, and how did you do it if you did?

So how do I contact support? The E-Mail address for support is nowhere to be found under the "Support" tab, and they only suggest using the forum.
The above link only takes you to the support page which seems to be worthless for this kind of thing.

You have to contact waze to change your username. I just did mine 2 days ago. Email you can do yourself.

I changed my username and now it's different to my forum name. But that's the only weird side-effect I'm aware of.
