Looks like I crossed over yesterday.
I think 20,000 of these edits are just from removing Portola Valley from every stinking place I seem to edit.

So what does this 5th cone really mean? I can see that I have a highlighted 5th cone, but I can't say I understand the meaning of these cones.. Does it give me any privileges I didn't have at 50k edits?

The 5th cone is part of the new post Jan 2012 ranking system.

The lower table in the link shows the new rank 5 is the same as the old rank 3. That means if you edit and lock a road, it cannot be unlocked by a new rank 4 (old rank 2) unless they are also an area manager of that road.

I'm reporting that my 5th cone (and level 3 map edit status) both appeared this evening after the server updates, which was about 3-4 days after I reached the 100,000 map edits. I had not submitted any request to support on that topic, they just appeared. I don't know if it is server controlled or Waze administration. I assume the former.
