Android 4.0.3 problem, Waze doesnt see mobile network

I believe another Wazer that had a similar problem actually had two instances of Waze running. Maybe ensure that Waze is not running and launch it again?

Also make sure that there isn't another mapping tool running in the background on the device (well the ones you can turn off that won't just restart.) That message, can be or at least in prior versions has been caused by a few different conflicts.

Another possible cause/conflict I've personally seen it due to having the Use Wireless Networks option enabled in the 'Locations' area of the Android settings. What I think was/is happening is minor hiccups each time there is a hand-off between towers, and that causes Waze to decide it can't get location via the wireless networks and thus it gives that searching network notification even when you can see a quality network connection in the info bar at the top of the screen. However that issue was with a prior version of Waze.

Is it only Waze that has an issue with 3G, or does browsing / email or other apps also have a problem?
After my initial 4.0.3 update on the HTC Sensation, Skype that used to stay connected between Wi-Fi and 3G had plenty issues till I got another OTA update that fixed that.

I just got hint and problem is solved.

Provider set wrong APN order (mms, then internet)! Corrected issue in the mobile network solved all problems. Many thanks!
