We have the speech alert, only when above the speed limit !
I think that having always a speech alert would be better and great !

Hmmm ... could get annoying if there are many speed cameras within a short distance.
or example I know roads in Austria where there are 5 Speed cameras within 5 km ... I would be annoyed if I would hear that every time I pass and not speeding ...

Very very usefull setting, I would like to watch the road, not only my phone... even and, particulary if there are many speed camera or other device in the same area!
And no, I don't think that, on the last beta, there were something like this.

Luc, isn't there a law in France where it is not allowed to show speed cameras on a map or warn people about speed cameras? But it is allowed to mention those sites as sites that needs more attention to the roads by the drivers ... ...

BTW: I believe here in Vienna at areas with section control (measurement of average speeds) it is always mentioned if you enter those sites, no matter if speeding or not ... Need to check that again ...

Hi Waze .. I really like the spinning Wazers (a.k.a. "amoebas") while communicating with the Waze routing servers, but the size and placement is slowly getting annoying. This could be a small-ish icon somewhere in the upper left/right corner, not a giant overlay in the middle of the screen. Or maybe have the "amoebas" race around the edges of the screen..?

Moreover the popups, buttons and menu would definitely benefit from a black background in night mode .

Also I feel like the popup reports' and Wazer detail cards' usability has detoriated compared to the old versions - the size has increased and the background transparency is gone. Also the old popups had a useful "arrow" pointing at what you clicked on.

No matter the law... I got an answer in the forum that we have the setting to "not show police camera"...
The setting to "Always enable speech alert on police camera" should be welcome !

Has anyone been having any trouble when moving around on the map and selecting other Wazers, etc? It seems like randomly when I do this the client freezes for 30+ seconds then eventually un-freezes.

Actually yes, I usually get a prompt from my OS saying that Waze isn't responding with a wait / force close option.

Thanks for the confirmation guys, I wonder if sending logs would do anything useful here. To me it seems like this might happen more if there's not yet a GPS lock or there's a data issue.. Have you thought the same, or have you observed it enough to say?

Logs would be very helpful! Please reproduce and send logs right after it crashes. Notify me after you send (including date and time).

Answering to a chat the keyboard froze on the screen.
To close it I had to change application, close the keyboard and then return to waze.

I also noted that the speedometer is very scattering (+/- 20 km)

Another bug. I reached FUP limit on my phohe and my connection speed went down to 16kpbs for few days. When the client communicates with the server e.g. during startup or map shift, it totaly hangs for ~10 seconds. The communication should always run on background to avoid such hangs.
