No street numbers in searches and unable to add in maps?

My understanding is as you have typed

What I do on my client is zoom into the road then click onto the part of the road I want to navigate to and save it as a location.

That is a limitation of waze in NZ

Hi,

I have just recently started to use Waze in Auckland NZ and noticed any searches for navigation ignore the street numbers that I enter in the search.

I have looked through the forums about this and it appears house numbers could be added in the past but no longer and that it also depends on if the region has been basemapped (not sure if I have this correct).

As I am a newbie, I was wondering if there is something obvious that I am missing or is this missing functionality for the region?
