I just upgraded android to CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... p=28898818) on my SGS GT-I9000. Waze GPS stability and accuracy still very poor - same as were on ICS.

another problems came out while I was pawing new roads. It creates extra long straight line out of nowhere. This happened 2 times, so you see 2 lines in screenshots:

Had some problems on my CDMA GNex today. I am running a stable Jelly Bean ROM. Every time that I typed something in the nav search box, then hit search, it would crash and restart. Could never get it to take it. I sent the logs.

the answer i received was that waze gives you the distance from your place to the destination as crow flight not how long is the route (??).

not an error .. in the search result the distance is as the crow flies, since the routes are not calculated yet! if you get 10 results in a search, waze would need to calculate 10 routes, just for showing you the results. that would be too much extra load for the routing servers ..

Yay the navigation category search doesn't crash Waze anymore. :)

Also a suggestion but is it possible in a future build we can have the ability to enter custom Events Radius, or maybe have 10 or 15 miles (in between 5 and 25)?

Or event radius 0 km/miles (=turn it off)

I'd like to suggest that reporting gas prices snap back to the navigation screen just like reports of say, traffic, or a hazard do. In other words:

Current behaviour:
1. You enter gas prices, or confirm the current ones.
2. You get 'The price has been confirmed. You earn 8 points.'
3. You must now manually hit the 'Close' box in the upper left corner to get back to navigation.

Suggested better way:
1. You enter gas prices, or confirm the current ones.
2. You immediately go back to the current navigation screen, and get the same box you'd get for a hazard report, or maybe 'that with a slight tweak'.
E.g.
'Thanks! You've helped nearby Wazers and earned 8 points!'
or
'Thanks! The price has been confirmed, you've earned 8 points!'
or
'Thanks! The price has been updated, you've earned 8 points!'

(I deleted my previous post and created this one, because I can greatly simplify the bug report).

Say you're on Ave A, and want to navigate to Bob's Business, also on Ave A:

1.7 miles down Ave A
(Arrive at destination)

When you put in the address for Bob's Business, and select it, you get the confirmation screen, with the possibilities [Close] [Routes] [Go] and an estimate in large print of how many minutes and miles this is.

On this particular screen, it seems that the distance you must travel NEVER takes into account the first segment of the trip you must take - the one your car is already on. In other words, that screen will say this:

Bob's Business, 125 A Ave
5 min 0 ft
[Close][Routes][Go]

Once you DO press [Go], THEN the navigation display at the bottom correctly displays 1.7 miles to go and 5 minutes travel time.

In the most general case, I think I can say this:
If navigating to a destination, the first screen estimate shows the proper number of minutes to your destination, but shows 'the total distance there minus the first segment of your trip'. In a case where I asked to navigate 2.2 miles total (one half mile past the first segment), I would be told that my trip would be:

7 min 0.5 mi

The "Voice Command" has always had more options for hazard reporting; it's supposed to be this way. The on-screen selection menu is limited because having that many extra options there would make it harder to find the item that you are reporting and would thus be a greater distraction to you while driving.
