Error reporting

Postby termin8r » Sun Aug 05, 2012 11:05 pm

All right, I've been editing around my area and assisting those who have posted issues and I am trying to resolve them. I have noticed at different locations, what I assume is the same person must of posted the wrong direction error a handful of times on top of one another. Is there anything that can be done that will stop a user of clogging a certain area with the same error?

When I get these, I keep marking them solved if I have already fixed it. I know, it's a pain. But they will get an email for everyone of them so I flood them with emails. If they are smart enough, they jump on the forums or actually PM you and ask what's up.

Ditto, and some times even without contacting you they get more helpful. I had one person mark a whole bunch of General error UR's around an apartment complex. Actually all the UR's were practically stacked so I assumed they were exploring from their apt and marked em all Not Identified. A week later they all popped up again in the same location now marked missing street. (All the streets were drawn in and labeled.) A couple days later they popped up again, spread properly around the complex with the correct names for all the streets, (someone previously had reversed the N/S and E/W street numbers when they mapped in the streets). I made the changes, and haven't seen a UR from that spot since.

Thanks for the feedback, it was annoying me and I had to get it out in the open but it appears to be common thing amongst wazers.
