Recently my WAZE is showing the speed almost twice as much as the car speedometer.
on release 3.2.2.0 in USA. This is happening on my Samsung Galaxy Note, running GB or ICS, makes no diff.
Anyone else seen this.?

Do you hear that annoying sound and see that blue flashing light in the mirror too?

Did your units get set to metric?
kph is close to twice mph. (Actually it's only 1.6 times, but it still might be the problem.)

driving a 2003 Cobra with 450hp, so that would scare me.
The settings were set to miles, but thanks for making me look.

Speed derived from gps is a lot more accurate than your dash speedo.
If the Waze settings are fine, get your car in for a checkup

You've pimped your car too much. Put those standard wheels back on.

I find that
- GPS speed is very accurate as long as you are not changing altitude much or going around curves.
- Waze seems to smooth GPS speed readings more than most navigation apps, and certainly more than a standalone GPS like a TomTom.
So IMHO as long as you're going straight and flat and not changing speed, the GPS is the authority. Otherwise you need to guess a little.

You guys have me LMAOROF
My car is just fine, any other app that uses GPS for speed registers just fine...
I am in Florida, so we do not have mountains, and I use cruise control..
Funny, on the way home, it worked just fine.

The Waze setting (doesn't affect any other app) for km vs. miles was the most reasonable possibility, IMO. But if you didn't change settings, I have no idea...
