LittlestLou, I've seen the SAME THING all over north Texas, by the same person. I usually notice it when a UR shows up, or I'm trying to remove "extra" junctions in the middle of roads and stuff that have no use. I'll zoom in/out and see a glimpse of red where they didn't name it, or double sets of >> or << where it's a one way road.

-Billy

P.S. My family's response when I say I'm "busy" is to give me "that look" and walk off muttering something about "maps".

Yes, precisely. So how does one get another Wazer "kicked out" so to speak, if this issue persists? Or at least take away editing rights as an AM? Waze Champs, any advice???

If you're unable to contact the user via PM, you can compile a list of links to bad edits and send it to support, and if they are unsuccessful with contacting the user, they might ban the user.

I just spent a few hours fixing quite a few so no links to offer. My priority is to correct the issues I guess and just hope he/she responds to my PM. They definitely got it, just no response yet.

Rest assured, Lou, you're not the only one who's noticed issues from Traffic Squad. I'll be sure and flag them for follow up next time I come across something. Perhaps as a group we can get to the root cause of the weird edits and prevent them from happening.

UPDATE: I received a PM on 8/4 from Traffic Squad. He/she expressed some real confusion over Waze problem resolutions so I directed them to review AM materials and then the Wiki. Since it was a PM, I will keep the specific content "P" unless directed otherwise. I just don't know how to explain when the question seems so off base. In the mean time, he/she says they aren't making any more edits until "Waze/we/I/you" explain why "Draw" doesn't really mean "Draw". Any body else want to elaborate or assist Traffic Squad?

Invite TrafficSquad to the forums to ask questions, and read, and learn. If an editor is not aware of the forums and keeping up with the constantly changing methods and practices, they'll never be able to do a good job.

Will be glad to see local AMs approved by local people. No community interaction, no AM rights, which is a privilege, not a right.
