Thanks everyone.

Please, get back to work. ;)

I was going to do that and then decided to wait until my rank actually changes. My map edits still say I am rank (3) and I didn't want to claim something I'm not (yet). No reply from support yet on the request from a few days ago. :D

Finally got the reply from Support to confirm the change. I see it on the map editor as well, so now I can officially claim it in my signature.

I had a heck of a time finding the sig banners WeeeZer14 created in the Wiki, so I am going to create some more redirects to find them easier.

Could've saved yourself some time just by looking at the image info on the one in my sig. ;) :o :P

I did realize that after I started searching, but then I wanted to be sure others could find it who did not realize that method would work. I knew I saw it in the Wiki, but did not remember how it was listed. Our Wiki search feature is very poor. You have to practically spoon feed it redirects to get it to recognize elements in an article are suitable to display in a search result. :(

I think instead of complaining about the new lock system, maybe it is faster that I just reach level 4....
So, I was working like crazy last week (much like playing on-line games....) and got about 45K edits in a week and finally reached the mark.....
And now I want to retire already..... :D

Congrats!

Have you seriously munched 1,380 MILES of newly added roads??? I see you are one of the earliest editors to join. Maybe the entire continent was all cookie munching roads in the beginning?

I did use waze for a road trip across Texas all the way to New Mexico in 2010. I-10 were full of points at that time.

A quick question:
Do I have to ask to become a country manager to edit anywhere? I saw my level and cones changing but I am still only able to edit in my area........

I just moved to Level 6 (4) myself and requested the level upgrade through support. I then separately requested CM status and received that a few days later.

After receiving my confirmation email, at first I thought I did not actually have CM status because my "editable area" layer showed it was still limited. I did not realize CM status does not (for me at least) change your editable area layer, so I just turned it off and have no problem anywhere that was restricted in the past.
