OK all fixed.
Found an older version of Waze (3.2.2) installed that, which worked perfectly, and then upgraded to 3.5.3, and all my friends are back!

Something wrong with 3.5.3 then.

I've reconnected and can share my routes on Facebook but no friends. Left it a couple if days in case there was a lag but no improvement.

Please can you fix this or advise me how to get them back.

Carl

Ps not jailbroken.

I think there's something wrong with the way Waze,Apple or Facebook handles the single sign on.

I have in the past as part of my beta testing installed from fresh on some of the betas for v3.5.2 and it worked previously but now it seems to be broken.

Ok, I'm a big fan and user of Waze, but I'm a bit skeptical of updating to 3.5.3 based on the previous version nearly crashing every time I booted it up. I have an iPhone 4S. Before I update, I just wanted to know if that is still a probability.

From what I've seen so far and the beta testing of the last few betas the crash issue is fixed (for me anyway).

Apart from the friends issue, its been fine for me.
If you close it straight away, when you've finished, you will get an error next time you switch it on.
But as long as you wait for the GPS arrow to disappear before ending the app, its fine.

Postby fabryx73 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 5:55 pm

Nothing about the absence of reports popup?
Are you only interested to (useless) Facebook issues?
Pls help...

I get popups, not as many as I used to.

I thought this was a feedback on what works and what doesn't, not how useful some people think the features are.

why the hell did they set the buttons on one line only, to make it barely un-understandable?
(not enough place on the screen i guess  )

Seriously Waze, please fix the keyboard on Pioneer devices. It's ridiculous. It used to work a couple of versions ago, and I had high hopes for it being fixed in this version.

I have an AVH-8400BT, and, when it worked, Waze was the best thing on it. Now, and for the last 2 or 3 months - useless.

iPhone 3.5.3 official feedback thread

So... Major issues today, first off, about 1ish (GMT) waze couldn't get a network, everything else was fine including twitter and iMessage.

Next up, about 20.45 (GMT) navigating home I was nearly home and waze asked if I was going home 3 times. Not sure what gives there. Image

Also got told I couldn't do petrol prices as I am a baby, don't think so...

Also, getting bugger all pop ups for things Enroute, 5km, 10km around etc, really not good, the previous beta was far far more stable and worked much better.

Apart from that it still works fine.
