We've just updated a few changes on our system that you might want to check out.

In the US only and on iPhone only - Push notifications:
The settings are already on the iPhone client (from version 2.0.1), but now the actual notifications will be starting to roll out.
Currently we only have 3 kinds of notifications:

1. Group owners receive daily (weekly if the group is big) updates about the number of users that joined their groups.
2. Area managers receive weekly reports about the number of updates/pending/edits in their area.
3. Gold/Silver/Bronze users receive notifications when they become eligible for it (recalculated weekly).

In the future we will probably have more push notifications, and we will update once those are out.

Please remember these are currently available in the US only, and for iPhone users only. We are working on adding these to the International server as well.

In US and INTERNATIONAL, and for all devices - new 'achievements' to unlock:
Added 7 new achievements:

* Your first friend on waze!
* Your first five friends on waze!
* This week''s top user in your state!
* You made your first map edit!
* Reported your first map problem
* You''ve resolved 50 map problems!
* You drove 500+ miles this week!

Each one is worth a different number of points - you will see how much when you get them
Veteran users are marked automatically as achieved first map edit, first update request and 50 resolved map problems (if they are eligible for this achievement).
