I like "wazedit" and it makes sense about the applicaiton. "Wazer" sounds like razer or some old motorola phone.

I was think about "roadwaze" but that's too much like road rage!

Until now, my vote goes to 'wazedit' too.

Using different ways of writing maybe will find a version with less confusion?
waz-e-dit
wazEdit

A new word-creation could be:
"waditor"

and short
"wadi"

or
"wadee"

Some days ago i supported wazEdit.
But many posts later I want to change my oppinion, because it does not fit all users needs.

I think, there are several types of user:
- Navigators (only using Waze as a navigation system)
- Trafficors (using Waze in a familiar area, but trying to get the best traffic information)
- Addictid Powerusers (editing the map, collecting points, writing in the forum...)
- maybe some more types...

The complex thing about Waze is, that we addicted powerusers need the app and cartouche.
Navigators would only need a good nav app (without all this editing) and trafficors need again other functions of the system.

So I would suggest easy apps for every type of user.
And I would suggest names more clear to the functions of that tool.

Waze-Nav
Waze-Traffic
Waze-Edit-App
Waze-Edit-Online

Well, this thougt need to be developed further, just want to share that idea.
What do you think?

**and just in case my earlier hunch is wrong, and to follow the request that the new name connotete 'speed' I also submit:

Expresswaze

.

You could combine the two: Celeruthos

I'm not really that fussed about a name (a tool is after all just a tool), but I'd caution against any name which could accidentally be pronounced as "waz-something" rather than "waze-something" - where I come from going for a waz is one of many euphemisms for going to the toilet.
