I get the POI name and distance away, which is better than the Google responses we used to get, but some general info for the location would be good. Of course, the submenu will show location on map, but that's not ideal.

Waze routes up to
1000mi in the US.

Definitely should.

Hrmph. Well, some parts of the US then. Because clearly I and some others, per the other thread, are getting the under 1000 message on the client.

Don't think so. That's an iPhone SS from Bassman, and I am too, so we get different msgs. I don't remember what unwallflower uses.
So, if it's not "US" or North America, what is it... ?

So one Android user and on iPhone user apparently can do this and we get an eyeroll?

Suprised Krankyd hasn't chimed in here today. Bing should be returning results in increasing distance order today.
It appears bing uses direct distance ("as the crow flies" in US vernacular) and not driving distance, so some results may be a bit of order at times if two locations have a fairly similar distance away. Overall though, it looks good now.

Various users are able to get up to 1000 mile trips over the past several months. I don't know what the rhyme or reason is.

Pretty sure she's on Android.

Google was horrific for me in the UK, often returning nothing at all. With Bing I've had multiple hits every time! A huge improvement in my opinion but possibly something that could be a user setting!

Hi,
I noticed that today the Waze Application is returning search results from Bing vs. Google.
Could we get additional information on the search results screen for the Bing results? Currently It shows the name of the POI, but doesn't have additional information such as the distance away, street, city, etc. It's difficult to make a decision on which result to choose without having to click on the result and view on the map.
The POI name is being shown but the second line has three dots (...) where this additional information could be shown (as it was with Google search).
I understand that there is limited screen real estate to show additional info, but at least a consistent distance away on each search result would be of value.
