Points, scoreboard and ranking problems

Hi all,
We are still having difficulties with the points and scoreboard. We realize this is a big frustration for veterans as well as waze-babies, and will do our best to solve this as soon as possible, but at this time it looks like it will be delayed for at least a few more days.
Please keep following status.waze.com for more information and updates. We will also update the forums.

This problem is on www.waze.com only (USA and Canada wazers). On the world.waze.com (the rest of the world) we might have small delays, but other than that - the points should updated.

So I think I just made the connection. Seems that the US dashboard and point system 'died' around the same time as when the new points system (VIP Users) was announced on 7/7/11.

Hopefully this will all be sorted out soon...

Good eye, gettingthere! My motivation is points, and the idea of doing tons of edits and driving since the last update on July 10, 2011 and not getting all those points is frustrating to say the least!

Let's hope that whatever is causing this issue isn't going to cause the loss of effort/points/stats when Waze restores the functionality.

I'm stuck at number 2 in California for weeks, right behind you !

Tomorrow is their last work day of the week, and I think that previous planned installs/updates on Thursday haven't gone in as proposed. Usually, we've received major updates like this on a Sunday, which makes much more sense as they are then around all day to fix lingering issues

Same thing here. I managed to drive+edit myself to the first position last week and now new week is already counting but last week top three are still the old wazers..

You can visit status.waze.com on your phone, but that will only give you information if they've updated it.
