Does the near you now feature has problems?

Post by
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/05/15/3u7apepu.jpgHi,

Since yesterday the near you now feature seems to behave strangely.

In Paris the typical rush hour number used to be around 6 500. Last morning it was around 13 000 and this morning it's 20 000!

I can understand that the recent press coverage of the Facebook may have given more exposure, but it's the first time I see the numbers skyrocket like this.

OTOH Wazestats displays abnormally low numbers.

I tested the feature in Lyon and Marseille, numbers doubled as well.

Anyone else experienced the same thing?

Were the perimeters doubled in size? Is it a bug?

Yes - for about the last 24 hours, I've seen something similar here in Dublin: a typical number I see shortly after 1800 (when I leave work) is about 30..35 - and yesterday it was 80. This morning it was also at least double the usual number.

A bug was found in there and is being fixed. The service was stopped in the mean time.

The NYN values are still functional, but both these and the statistical graphs do again show unusually low values.

It looks like the NYN is broken - I read that Bratislava reported 500 Wazers in the middle of the night. The WazeStats may be hampered by the recent behavior of the client showing very, very few Wazers when zoomed in (something changed in the way Wazers are selected for display and WazeStats relies on that).
