WHAT IS A GLOBAL MEETUP? An event hosted every 2 years, planned and organized by Waze which takes place in Waze Headquarters in Israel. The event's activities span 1 evening and 2 full days: Day 1 (Friday) - arrival day, check-in, and group dinner with Waze Staff. Day 2 (Saturday) - day trip, guided tour of a popular location in Israel. Day 3 (Sunday) - visit to Waze HQ in Tel Aviv, presentations from Waze Staff & workshops, ends with a social gathering in the evening. Day 4 (Monday) - check-out from the hotel. WHAT ARE THE GOALS? Get to know Waze Staff in their natural environment at Waze Headquarters! Strengthen bonds between Global Champs from around the world. Provide feedback to and discuss challenges with key Waze Staff. Align/prepare future projects and plans. WHO IS INVITED? Global Meetups are exclusive to Waze Global Champs. Waze Staff selects up to 70 participants from those who registered. Please keep in mind that space is limited. We aim to have a good mix of new and veteran Global Champs coming from a variety of communities from all over the world! WHEN IS THE NEXT GLOBAL MEETUP? Global Meetups usually take place every two years - The next Global Meetup will be held this year! Once dates are finalized, they are posted to the Registered Events list and in the Meetup Calendar. HOW ARE THEY PLANNED? Global Meetups are planned and organized by Waze Staff. Once a date and venue have been selected, we inform the community on the Waze Forum (accessible to Global Champs only) and post the registration form. WHAT'S COVERED BY WAZE? Round trip travel to Israel. Three-night stay at a hotel in Tel Aviv for each participant. Food and beverage during all activities related to the event and a local sim card.
