Educating drivers about dangerous intersection to reduce crashes

As part of Vision Zero efforts to reduce pedestrian fatalities to zero, Waze worked with Vision Zero teams in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Boston to identify the three most accident-prone intersections in each city.

Impact

  • Using the Waze advertising “take-over” product to deliver messages to drivers at a complete stop, Waze reminded users to drive safely as they approached each of these 15 intersections.
