On my drive to work this morning at 9am central time in Austin, I had very limited connectivity to Waze servers. I appeared to get one chunk of street data in the middle of my commute, but for the most part the map was missing roads, reports, other wazers, etc. Reports that I made failed to send, and in general it was evident that I was not exchanging data with the Waze servers.
When I arrived at work and got on wifi, it was evident that there was still no connectivity. So it was not a wireless data issue, it was either the network near the server location was in bad shape, or the server itself experiencing some sort of problem. It looks like it is back up now, about an hour later…
