We’re thrilled to announce that registration for the in-person 2026 APAC Mega Meetup is now open! This year, we’re gathering in the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and we’d love for you to join us.

Saturday, May 16: Presentations, Workshops, Activity & Dinner

Sunday, May 17: Presentations, Roundtables, Q&A Panel, and Farewell Cocktails. The Meetup will end around 2:00 PM.
This Meetup is all about uniting our community, celebrating our collective spirit, and driving innovation. Together, we’ll explore new ideas, tackle challenges, and enhance the Waze experience for users worldwide.
Spots Are Limited
To show your interest in participating, please complete this sign-up form by January 29th. Please note that registration does not guarantee a spot. We have a limited number of places available, and selection will be based on the following criteria:

Editor’s Level

Participation in Previous Meetups: Engagement and commitment to the community.

Cross-Community Involvement: Active roles in multiple initiatives, such as being an editor, beta tester and localizer.

Community Balance: Ensuring diverse representation of countries for an inclusive experience.

Community Activity: Engagement in forums, local chat, and special projects.

Local Community Leadership Recommendations: Your local community leadership will provide input to ensure fair and thoughtful representation from each community.
Confirmed participants will receive an email by mid-February. If you’re waitlisted, we’ll notify you as soon as a spot becomes available.
Important Information:

Passport: Ensure your passport is valid (not expired).

Flights: Please do not book your own flights. Our travel agents will contact you once your attendance is confirmed.

Additional Guests: We understand that some of you may plan to attend with your family members, and we acknowledge the significance of their support. Please be aware that we won’t be able to cover any expenses for additional guests, and unfortunately, our production company cannot manage their flight reservations. Additionally, they won’t be able to participate in any of the Meetup’s sessions.

Accommodation: Waze covers 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). A 3rd night may be covered if required by your travel itinerary or a long driving distance, subject to prior approval.
