I reported an issue here that I am unable to fix as the roads are locked.
Travelling from the A741 Renfrew Road you can bear right onto the A726 Weir St in order to get to Old Sneddon St.
Waze provides a route that makes absolutely no sense at this point though. You can see this from the report in that area.
Can anything be done to rectify this?
Thanks!
Hi,
Looks like the turns are allowed? Choice of route can be subjective - and will include traffic speedfor different sections of the roads.
I did notice that This section is not connected. Should it be?
Also, neither the A726 nor the A741 are allowed to left turn into Here! Ergo there is, seemingly, no point for the road to be there… Or is it a WIP?

Hi,
I noticed that the turns are allowed which is what confused me in the first place. The suggested route makes you drive further than you have to and you also get stuck at traffic lights. It’s never busy when I drive it so it can’t be a faster route due to traffic. Hopefully it’ll sort itself out in the end then.
Well spotted, that first section should be connected. You can get to Weir St from Wallneuk Rd.
You can turn left into Wallneuk Rd so those turns can be allowed too.
I’m guessing whoever made the road didn’t realise they couldn’t connect it properly to the main roads.
Been there!
Hi,
Sorted those and simplified a little (deleted one road as the remaining one serves both turns) so keep an eye on routing through there once the updates go live.

BTW: Just checked the speed of those sections and I suspect that this would cause the routing issue reported. If you check This segment and the next one the A->B speed is only 5mph for both. Hence, I suspect, people would be routed the other way as it would “appear” quicker.
You can close that UR and if you keep an eye on those sections to see if the speeds start to increase…
