I’m Old_G0at aka Dave Gerns in South Burlington.
I’d like to add a road closure for the road segment of Kimball Ave So Burlington to Marshall Ave Williston due to bridge washout/collapse.

It should be set for one week 12.4.2017 -19.4.2017 based on news http://www.wcax.com/category/166239/video-landing-page?clipId=13241743&autostart=true

Yesterday in Free Press article is indicating it will likely be out for four weeks.

Any trouble extending it if that proves to be the case?
“A sinkhole also formed Friday on the border of South Burlington and Williston along Kimball Avenue and Marshall Avenue. Officials from both towns say the roadway will be closed for at least several more weeks and up to a month until a temporary bridge is put in place. About 8,000 cars travel that road per day.”

Thank you MADCATVT for entering this closure. I have extended it based off your article Old_Goat. Thank you for the update, we try to keep on top of the closures that happen around the state and really are appreciative of the community support in doing so. Let us know if you hear anything else but as of right now I have closed it till May 1st and will continue to monitor to see if it needs to be extended. It is currently set up to reopen if Waze Detects traffic over the washed out bridge as who knows when the towns will get the temporary bridges in place.

I saw this week that the temp bridge is in place so this road has been reopened.
