Is someone able to help update the address for Steve Sparkman - State Farm Insurance Agent and remove the Saturday hours so it shows as Closed for Saturday? We only need those two areas fixed; everything else is correct and does not need to be changed.
It’s currently showing:
• Address: 3705 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, United States
• Saturday Hours: 10am - 3pm
but the correct information is:
• Address: 3715 Strawberry Plains Rd, Unit 1, Williamsburg, VA 23188
Thank you for reaching out again @KieranT702. Unfortunately, Waze does not have a secondary address field for suite numbers. However, as @FEWUT already noted, this information is included in the description of the Waze Place already.
Thank you for your response! I understand what you are saying, and I did see that the unit number was added to the description. The reasoning for my follow up is because I’ve seen other Waze listings that have the Unit/Suite and state abbreviation included in the address.
The Waze listing for Perry Olson - State Farm Insurance Agent (3035 E Tropicana Ave, Suite A1, Las Vegas, NV 89121) is an example of another agent whose Suite number is in line 2 on the Google listing, but is showing correctly on Waze. It also has the state abbreviation. So I wanted to see if something was missed is all.
Is the formatting requirements different for each state?
Ahhh, thanks for the clarification. I get where you’re coming from now.
The Waze “LiveMap” on Waze.com and the Waze App show both results from Waze’s own database of Places and the Google Maps database of Places.
On Waze.com, you may see the “2nd address” field (aka suite/floor/room) on results from Google, but viewing the same results on the Waze app, this field will not populate. As far as I know, it’s a current limitation of the app that the Google addresses aren’t replicated exactly.
For the Waze results, the best we can do is to include the suite # in the description field, as this is visible on the Place preview screen before a user begins navigation.
And the unit number will be in the description.
