Another Level 5 issue - Quarters Court

A UR identified a private road here by the Galleria in Houston that was not on the map.

It looks to me like it belongs on the map, so I added it as a private drive (which it is, identified as such on the street sign.) But I cannot make the connection to Westheimer Rd, as that requires a Level 5 editor.

If a Level 5 editor (are you the only one in this area, TxEMT?) would make that connection, that should resolve this UR. I searched the forums for Quarters Court to see if it was discussed and rejected before, but didn’t find anything.

If it’s in Texas, there’s a 90% chance I’ve edited it, or at least know about it.

Tell me why it needs to be on the map. I’m not sold.

It’s got a street sign at both of those intersections, with no restrictions.

It’s a legitimate route not only connecting Westheimer and W Alabama to several driveways, but also to each other.

Having it on the map will allow Waze to route people more efficiently through an often very congested area.

Businesses with driveways from Quarters Court may not be readily visible from the closest locations on Westheimer or W Alabama.

Actually…it won’t. Waze will not route people between Westheimer and W Alabama because of the transition penalty private roads have.

Noob question, but if it doesn’t function just as a private drive, does it need to be classified as a private drive? I think the other three points I made are still valid.
