Atlanta Road Closure

Atlanta Watershed recently posted a Road Closure due to a 10-foot hole impacting the roadway. How can we add this closure to the Waze map? I have tried adding through the app, but from what I understand it won’t show up on the map until it has been confirmed by others.

Here is the information from Atlanta Watershed:
Road Closure: West Wesley Road is closed between Bohler and Moores Mill Road. Please use alternate routes when traveling in this area.

Would be nice if this could show up on the map before Monday morning traffic.

Spedracr, thank you for adding the road closure last week.

We actually have another sinkhole in the same neighborhood about a mile away. This road closure is on Nancy Creek RD NW between West Wesley RD NW & Ridgewood RD NW.

Trying to find the road now. Any idea on how long?

The closure is about a mile northwest of the last road closure I reported. Not sure how long this closure will be, but it sounds like the city will be addressing both sinkholes starting this Wednesday. I drive by both road closures multiple times a week on my way home, so I will be able to contact you once they have cleared.

I have attached a zoomed out view of the area with the road closure portion marked in blue.

Closed till Aug 12th. Please let us know if it opens sooner so we can remove the closure.

Can you extend the time frame for both road closures. They are estimating that the sinkhole repair will take more than a month to properly repair the leaking pipes beneath.

Forgot to update last night. I extended the closures for 30 days. Please let us know when they can be removed if early or need extended again. Thanks for providing this information.
