Big Data Request for historic Cali traffic

Hi, this request is for the data science team at Waze!

I am currently enrolled in a graduate Data Science class at USC Marshall (Fight 0n!!! =) and my team decided to focus on whatever information we can glean from commute times in California, specifically from the 2013 American Community Survey dataset posted on Kaggle. https://www.kaggle.com/census/2013-american-community-survey

I am a huge fan of your app and lately started using it very extensively. I was hoping if you would be willing to share any data that we can use for our commute analysis project, maybe regarding the SoCal area? We could use old data from like 2013. Anything you could share that we could practice with would be super greatly appreciated!

It is great to hear that you have an interest in Waze and its data. Very few Waze staff check out these forums, therefore you will want to contact Waze directly, check their support website. Im sorry I cannot be of more help.

I don’t think Waze publishes a general email address. My only suggestion is to search for ‘Report A Bug’ on the Waze Support website and use the provided contact feature to start the conversation directly with Waze. Good Luck!
