We are pleased to announce that registrations for Mega Meetup Brazil 2026 are now open! This year, we will be gathering in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, and we would love for you to join us. :tada:

Event Details:

  • Date: July 10th to 12th

  • Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

General Agenda:

  • Friday, July 10th: Check-in, Reception, and Dinner

  • Saturday, July 11th: Presentations, Workshops, Activity, and Dinner

  • Sunday, July 12th: Presentations, Roundtables, Q&A Panel, and Farewell Cocktail

This Meetup is about bringing our community together, celebrating our collective spirit, and driving innovation. Together, we will explore new ideas, tackle challenges, and improve the Waze experience for users worldwide.

LIMITED SPOTS

To secure your spot, please fill out this registration form by February 26th. Please note that registration does not guarantee a spot. We have a limited number of seats available, and selection will be based on the following criteria:

  • Editor Level

  • Participation in Previous Meetups: Engagement and commitment to the community.

  • Inter-community Involvement: Active role in multiple initiatives, such as being an editor and beta tester.

  • Community Balance: Ensuring diverse representation for an inclusive experience.

  • Community Activity: Engagement in forums, Discord, and special projects.

  • Recommendations from Local Community Leadership

Confirmed participants will receive an email by mid-March. If you are on the waiting list, we will contact you as soon as a spot becomes available.

Important Information:

  • Documentation: Ensure your documentation is valid (not expired).

  • Flights: Do not book your own flights; our travel agents will contact you once your participation is confirmed.

  • Additional Guests: We cannot cover expenses or assist with flight bookings for family members. They will also not be able to attend the Meetup sessions.

  • Accommodation: Waze covers 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). A 3rd night may be covered if necessary due to your travel itinerary or a long driving distance, subject to prior approval.

Tip: it’s important to know whether the accommodation will be in the South Zone or in Barra so we can choose the most suitable airport! The official end time of the event is also relevant for setting the return time.
