Steps to reproduce this issue:
I cannot accept or reject this particular edit. I am told I do not have permissions and WME highlights a very specific part of the map where I can see no issues. I have wiggled nodes etc. I am L5 LC and can edit countrywide so there should be no reason why it is restricted. Other members of the UK community have also tried and failed.
You mentioned it is not possible to save successfully after you reject it, correct?
Would you mind if we tried to reject it on our end? And if so, what reason could we use and what message should we provide to the suggester?
Yes you can try rejecting it. Which node is that at where you’re seeing that issue?
You can reject with this comment: Bus lane cameras need to be added to the map as a permanent hazard. Also this is not a HOV lane. Please contact a member of the community if you would like help with this.
I can’t see that there are any broken nodes. Nevertheless, I’ve split all the segments and reconnected them, and still get the same error. Not sure what else I can do.
The nodes are perfectly fine the way they are now as they were before, but they become broken after you apply the suggestion. I doubt I’ll be able to reject and save it (haven’t tried yet), so we’ll need to have it reviewed by the team.
Yes, we’ll get all or nothing, as partial acceptance is not possible yet. To sum up, if we manage to reject it, no changes will be made to the current state,
Sorry I’m confused. I thought by sending me those examples you were suggesting that the broken nodes were the reason why it errored upon rejection. I can see how they were broken if accepting, because it looked like the editor had made a real mess, but that was never the intention anyway. I was always going to reject it.
Ah, I apologize, I was just trying to point out the problematic bits which the suggestion would cause if it were accepted and most likely the reason why it cannot be actioned. Sorry for the confusion. I’ll try to reject it on my end and let you know the outcome.
@titchy, I managed to reject the suggestion and sent the message you provided before. I have no logical explanation why it worked for me but not for others who’d tried prior to my attempt.
