Hello Miqui, I have lowered the lock for your edits. I will tell you that this is not part of the protocol we follow so don’t let me down with your edits. Especially, with the unsplitting of the roads segments. I hope you read through the discussion on it. Perhaps you can ask Alvin to watch over you since he was the one who created most of the split roads there which may be is there for a reason.

I’d like to now when your done so I can review them. Thanks.

Rest assured that I have read the wikis about the process and considerations of splitting and unsplitting.

As for Item#11, its actually just one road that I have separated into diff permalink to go around the issue of missing segments when I try to include several segments in just one permalink. Still don’t know why it happens, but happens usually when I try to include more than 10 segments in one permalink. So because of that, I try to limit 8 segments per permalink.

Also upon checking on it, this particular street was just created by inactive users and another Lv1 user last year, so might explain why there is an unnecessary split segment here. What actually triggered me to check this area is when I passed on it, Waze gave me a “keep right” instruction when there is no where else to go but go straight. Happens to be that the other supposedly one way segment was drawn as a “two-way” , Good thing turn restrictions were there else if someone was routed on the other side of the road, they could have counterflowed and have an accident.
Some of its split portions are even above actual “unsplit” roads, so really makes it unnecessary.
There are also no establishments on that road that would require very specific routing.

And since its a primary street in Cavite,
I’ve already consulted Doc Ada on it before I included it in the unlock requests.
She already gave me a go signal on it. =)
But if you say so, I won’t mind asking Boss Alvin to also check it. =)
And as far as I remember I haven’t unsplitted any split segment that was originally done by Boss Alvin.
Most that I have unsplitted were just village entrance roads that were splitted because of a guard house, really unncessary =)
