I am an Area Manager for this area, but am unable to edit this particular segment.

Unlocked. Please make this a single-road intersection. There’s no reason for 3 segments in between the separated roadways.

The only reason I made it that way was because the existing junction was the far right connection. This hardly seemed proper. If I removed it and used only the diagonal as you suggest, this intersection will throw up Problems with U-turns in both directions since the diagonal will be too far away from either side.
U-turns are the norm here due to most major thoroughfares (and minor ones for that matter) being divided by medians with decently long stretches between available turns.

Ah, yes. If Problems appear then you’ll need to adjust. Love those wiiiiide intersetions!

Eufo, I noticed a lot of “Griffin Rd” segments have “Davie” for city farther East than I would have expected. It seems to me that “Davie” is being used too far to the East, at least based on my prior knowledge of the area when I lived in Sunshine Acres and worked in Davie. Has Davie annexed more land to the East?
Also, I would suggest making “Griffin Rd” a Minor Highway all the way west to I-75, and maybe even US-27, to help provide some additional routing choices to the local drivers.

Davie shouldn’t go any further east than the Turnpike, but it looks like some Griffin segments beyond there are labeled as such, but nothing too major.
Griffin Rd. was a complete disaster when I first joined Waze. Every segment west of the turnpike was categorized as a two-way “Street” despite it being a huge thoroughfare. I handled it like most things I do in Waze… triage. I quickly categorized them as “Primary Street” to allow the road to be used for routing for most people in the area. From my own experience, “Primary Street” seems to route just fine, but I just recently started dividing the road and designating it “Minor Highway” starting at the Turnpike and heading west. Broward County alone could take a person years to fix as it contains a huge amount of errors and few editors.

Hi Eufo, Primary Street and Street are treated the same by routing, the only difference is that Primary Street is highlighted in the client. Your other fixes to Griffin Rd probably made the difference, and traffic flow also helps. If you make it a minor highway, routing will consider it as a possible choice for longer drives.
I see the good work that you’re doing in that area, keep it up. Don’t forget to take some breaks to read the forums, you’ll find many gold nuggets of information in the forums that are not in the wiki.
