Official update request: Cité Créative district in Montpellier

Hello,

I am contacting you on behalf of the City of Montpellier regarding an update to the name and the map of a neighborhood in Montpellier, the “Quartier de la Cité créative”. Its name must include everything between the quotation marks, and it would be necessary (I do not know if this is possible on Waze) for the neighborhood zone to follow the plan below.

Is it possible to make this modification, please?

Hello,

Does the position of the entrance to this district in Maps work for you?
If not, please provide us with an address.
We don’t send a vehicle to an area, but to the entry point of that area.

Furthermore, and for now, I have corrected the following ways:

Allée Renée Davelly instead of Rue Renée Davelly and connection at the correct spot to the south, onto Rue Noor Inayat Khan.
Allée Mila Racine instead of Rue Mila Racine.
Rue Frida Kahlo added.
Rue du Cinquante Sixième Régiment d’Artillerie added as an alternative name for compatibility with Rue du 56ème Régiment d’Artillerie and the BAN (National Address Database).
Rue Germaine Richier added (start and end geometry to be checked, likely a dead end?)
Rue Simone Mathieu (corrected, with only one ‘t’ in the BAN) extended (does it actually lead out onto Rue Geneviève de Gaulle Anthonioz?)
Place Niki de Saint-Phalle added
ESMA POI, added address and entry point on Place Niki de Saint-Phalle

Is there a parking lot inside this neighborhood and if so, where is it located?

All modifications/creations of ways will be on the map in about 2 days.

Regarding the finalization of this area, it would be helpful to have a local editor because the Google base map is not up to date, Street View is missing, and I am currently relying on the land registry.

Hello Glenan56,

Thank you for your messages and your edits. I confirm that the official name is indeed ZAC du Quartier de la Cité Créative (following the 2021 resolution) and note the road layout corrections!

Regarding the position of the entrance, that is great, and finally, we are in discussions with Google Maps to update the neighborhood map on their end as well.

Hello,

If needed, I can take over since I also happen to be the SM for the 34
I noticed that Avenue de la Croix du Capitaine is shown as two-way on the map, whereas it is now one-way.

Best regards,

Bruno

Hello,

No worries Bruno.
A local place is always preferable.
