Waze have just released a new piece of software called a Falcon Snapper which keeps the vehicle on the correct track, & detects a changed route much faster.
To enable this to be used correctly, and also unlock new features, we are in the process of converting roads that have divided medians (concrete or wide painted strips) to dual carriageways.
This is to be done while checking the GPS tracks to see if the aerial image is offset from reality or not.
We are just finishing a mapraid to correct the most in need of fixing before tomorrow when it finishes.
We are changing from the “old K.I.S.S mapping” (Keep It Super Simple) to be more accurate in what we draw now.
Along with Lane Guidance on some intersections, larger slip lanes might be drawn also.
