Serbia School Zone Map Raid
Kudos to editors from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Bulgaria who took on the challenge of mapping school zones during our Live Map Raid at the Balkan Regional Meetup in Belgrade. In just a few hours, they mapped over 150 school zones in several Serbian cities.
Pope Francis’ funeral
During this deeply significant event, the Italian community demonstrated immense care in collaborating with Waze partners to ensure road closures that impacted 10K drivers were accurately reflected on the map. A special thank you goes out to miole67 for leading this vital effort.
Giro d’Italia
Kudos to the Italian community for adding closures to the map ahead of the Giro d’Italia, an annual multiple-stage bicycle race. Thanks to you, drivers were able to avoid congested areas and stay safe during the event.
Star of the Month
Meet r0den, our loyal L5 editor, Jerusalem Area Manager and a member of our script writers community. During the recent forest fires, r0den worked closely with Waze Partners to update road closures, ensuring the safety of drivers and evacuated communities.
