# Essonne Map update request

I’d like your help updating the map.

Reason: Naming issue between Waze and Gmaps, and between the official street name and Géoportail. To avoid routing confusion (some street numbers lead to the A6), I added an alternate name to the entire street (as discussed on Discord). Could you please validate my requests so this can be implemented quickly?

Hello,  
The naming is correct on Waze; it perfectly matches the BAN (National Address Database).  
If there is a problem, it originates from GMaps, so it is up to them to update. You just need to request the change on Maps.

Hello,  
I submitted the request on Google Maps today; I’m waiting for their feedback.  
However, where there seems to be a lack of consistency is on Géoportail, where the street is named “Roissys Haut”. It is obviously not the official naming reference, but it’s confusing.

Géoportail is not yet up to date (it’s not just here), but it doesn’t matter. The only reference we should take into account is the National Address Database, and so here Waze is up to date.
