There is a UR here that states waze will not route to Friendship Park. Google maps has a area at the end of the BWI runway across Dorsey Run Rd identified as "Friendship Park, BWI Trail, Severn, MD. If you route to this Google entry waze cannot return a route (likely because of the proximity of the Google pin to the BWI trail). I would like to correct the place on the waze map. However, I can find no reference to “Friendship Park” anywhere outside of Google. Anne Arundel County refers to the “Thomas A. Dixon Observation Area” on the BWI Trail which is separately mapped over the parking lot on both the waze map and the Google map. Does anyone know what Friendship Park is? Is it some kind of relic from before the airport or its expansion?
Friendship Park is indeed the old name of the Dixon Observation area.
