I recently updated the map to open up significantly the Frontier Closed Area (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontier_Closed_Area).
For some time many of the roads were marked as “Private Roads” as access is strictly controlled.
However, some time ago, the Frontier Closed Area was significantly reduced, and I’ve tried to open up the roads where possible.
Can anyone with local knowledge have a check to see if more roads could (should) be opened up (i.e. converted from Private Road to Street, Primary Street or whatever?
Note to editors: As we’re very close to Mainland China take care to ensure HK segments are correctly marked as such. If marked as Chinese segments you will experience issues e.g. reversed roundabouts since we drive on the wrong side of the road (in China they drive on the right side of the road)!!!
