# Google Doc for Area Managers has been "butchered"

At the bottom of the [Editing Ranks](http://www.waze.com/wiki/?title=Editing_ranks/url) page, there is a link for a shared [Google Doc](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnK4ogNrUnhmdDM1LXIzNXNFblJMMkJRelo0NzR5dkE&hl=en_GB/url) that has recently shrunk drastically in size. Many managers for many countries have been removed from the list. As a rookie with high aspirations for moving up the ranks, I refer to it on occasion to help remember who it is I’m reading posts about. Some portions of the Wiki instruct that it has good information to know for those applying for higher editor status. Other folks I’m sure, use it for the personal contact/email/pm factor. The line numbers in the left column speak volumes as to how much information has recently been lost on the document. This appeared to have happened around Sunday August 11. I’ve searched the forums for any sign that the information was split into multiple files by country or area, or if any of this was intentional at all. Unless I’ve missed the answer, I’ve found no indication of this. It could be accidental, it could be malicious, or it could be intentional and all is well…
This is more of a “call to attention” for those who may be more concerned than myself, but not discovered it yet… Anyone know what gives? Anyone got backups? Anyone who was on the list NOT want to be on the list?
Personally, I was setting a goal to ON the list. Bugger! 😢

A column filter was on, selecting “DE” only. I’m not sure how up-to-date this sheet is, though, or who is supposed to update it.

D’Oh! I feel schmart! I had been through the menus looking for any ways some could be hidden. Didn’t realize it was the litte blue/green arrows on each column label.
Looks like anybody has permission to update it. Like the maps, it seems to be a growing living thing as long as people respect it the same.
Who is supposed to or responsible for updating? Good question. I certainly haven’t been around long enough to have the first clue. Anyone recall someone being appointed or voted in? (surely not?!)
The “what happened” issue appears to be closed, and happily, not an issue. I’m currently downloading an Excel version of the document to my “Waze Links” folder to honor and protect in case this thread is reopened. (Just saving it, not marrying it!)
