Here’s a list of Covid-19 “Spaces for people” changes [around Edinburgh](https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/spaces-people-1/emergency-measures-pedestrians-cyclists-coronavirus).

I’ve implemented what I can; the following are either L4 or don’t make sense to me:

- Waverley Bridge is closed to vehicles at the [junction with Princes Street](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.19115&lat=55.95188&s=21328035839&zoom=6&segments=191934713).

- Waverley Bridge is partially closed at the [junction with Market Street](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.19115&lat=55.95188&s=21328035839&zoom=6&segments=191934414), allowing only taxi access.

- [Braid Road](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.21172&lat=55.91799&s=21328035839&zoom=5&segments=386180268,386180267) is closed to vehicles from the junction at Braidburn Terrace and Hermitage Drive to the entrance of the Braid Hills Hotel.

- [Links Gardens, Leith](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.16057&lat=55.97062&s=21328035839&zoom=6&segments=123934177) is closed from the junction with Links Gardens Lane to Gladstone Place / Vanburgh Place.

- [Cammo Walk](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.31766&lat=55.95820&s=21328035839&zoom=5&segments=257185055) is closed to vehicles east of [the pathway](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.31766&lat=55.95820&s=21328035839&zoom=5&segments=392901246) into Cammo Grove. I can’t understand a north-south road being closed “east of”.

- Partial closure of [Stanley Street and Hope Lane](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.11372&lat=55.94637&s=21328035839&zoom=5&segments=123924208,123924900,299209667) between Stanley Street and Christian Grove to traffic. I was unable to understand this either.

Thanks.

All closures / changes made. Feel free to give your feedback. All URs are yours to handle 😉

Cammo Walk, umm, maybe it was the best reference for a point closure, but actually doesn’t make any sense at all. I’ve set this the 2-way section of Cammo Walk to private to allow routing to destinations (local access) but not through routing, once the closure expires in 36 hrs. The closest I could find was the following but may be unrelated;

> [@June 18](#):
>
> COMMUNITY COUNCIL CONSULTATIONS
>
> CAMMO WALK AND CAMMO GARDENS/MAYBURY ROAD JUNCTION
>
> The City Council has proposals to permanently close Cammo Walk to vehicles, from Cammo Estate Car Park to Craigs Road, to provide safe walking and cycling. However, many Cammo and Strathalmond residents rely on Cammo Walk to drive southwards, due to safety concerns about using the Cammo Gardens Junction. Hence, the Community Council is advocating retention of Cammo Walk for southward vehicular access, with separate cycle-/foot-paths; or if Cammo Walk is closed, provision of traffic lights at the Cammo Gardens/Maybury Road junction.
>
> In addition, the Community Council has sought discussions with the City Council on potential redesigns of Barnton Junction. Again, we are seeking traffic lights at Cammo Gardens…

Stanley St & Hope Ln are partial as the closure doesn’t close the entire length of either road, we had Hope Ln mapped wrong, it runs the full east side of golf course. I’ll need to extend the closure within 24hrs & after the map tile update.

Now you have identified that the Scottish government is using #spacesforpeople, would you like to find all the other schemes across the rest of the country 😉

Thanks, that’s great.

I missed two other L4’s: [Victoria Street](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.19224&lat=55.94827&s=21328035839&zoom=6&segments=250027220) and [Cockburn Street](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-3.18913&lat=55.95042&s=21328035839&zoom=6&segments=123935915) have been closed too.

I’ll look out for #spacesforpeople, that’ll be fun

Thanks.

Both those have now been closed too.
