L5 Edit - M60, J21 to A663 Slip Road

Hello

Could an L5 editor have a look at this junction. The reporter and I feel that this needs an earlier turn instruction and is seems a split would be better to give a KL/KR. I don’t think the current turn instructions work with the paint on the road.

Looking at this again, I can see it could be confusing. You used to get an instruction to either Keep Right to A6104 Semple Way or a Turn Left to A6104 Semple Way. With one of the voices that doesn’t give street name, you’ve have a Keep Right or Turn Left. I felt that should have been adequate to give sufficient time to get in the correct lane, but the A6104 Semple Way is longer to say than the Left or Right which could get lost in a noisy environment.

I’ve incorporated the new slip provided by Martgee in the junction so the instruction is now either Keep Right to A6104 towards Chadderton and Rochdale or Keep Left to A6104 towards Manchester City Centre. As that ties up with the signage, that should make life easier.
