# L5 uplock - Newbury, Berkshire

I’d like to request [this junction](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=-1.31747&lat=51.40678&layers=965&zoom=6&segments=261994273,261994276,261994353,261994350,252531086,261994272,261994275,245014434,261994351,261994352,254415925,177062160,261994370,261994369,261994368,254416620,254416619,121909480,261994405,261994403) to be uplocked to L5.
We have struggled with it for some time, and have had quite a few URs complaining about wrong directions. Without the little splits that we have put in at each exit, the first direction a user coming in from the east and exiting on the west is given would be ‘exit/turn left’, even though they have to first skirt around the U-bend to the right. (If only we had a ‘continue straight on’ option…).
Although our solution of adding a series of ‘keep right’ instructions is not ideal - it leads to a whole load of instructions in quick succession - we feel it is the best solution and at least forces users to look at the visual map instead of blindly following an incorrect voice command.
Unfortunately we have already had the junction ‘fixed’ by another L3 using the validator script and we can anticipate it being undone frequently unless it is locked beyond L4 that it will soon become (PRN).

Uplocked.
Now that the UR overview and Livemap UR scripts have the ability to filter out [NOTE] UR’s (just live the filter for [ROADWORKS] that they’ve had for a while), I suggest you create a [NOTE] UR for this junction explaining it and asking people to contact you before editing.
Of course, while the [NOTE] filter will prevent people from constantly finding this UR when they are looking for problems to fix, it may mean that someone will leave the filter on and never find your note - still, we’ll be no worse off.
