I’m an Area Manager. I haven’t been editing much lately, but noticed that someone changed a rather large highway in my area from ‘Minor Highway’ to ‘Primary Street’ and is affecting navigation. They didn’t even changed full segments of the highway, and locked whatever they changed. Not even I can change it?

It’s ALL of Middle Tennessee Blvd (from New Salem Highway to the west to E Clark Blvd to the north). [https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=2&lat=35.84516&lon=-86.38345&layers=BFTFFTTTFTTFTTTTFTTTTFT](https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=2&lat=35.84516&lon=-86.38345&layers=BFTFFTTTFTTFTTTTFTTTTFT)

Thanks.

It looks like you have corrected this now.

Please repost in the Unlock Request forum if you need anything unlocked.

Thanks!

Thanks, but none of the locked segments are editable… I changed all the ones I could, but there’s still 5-7 segments around the campus of MTSU that are not changeable.

Your name showed as last editor this morning on the segments I looked at, so I thought it was all corrected.

I’ve unlocked all segments that you requested, plus the segment north of Main.

Be sure to lock them back up when you are done.

Thanks.

Sorry, but I’ve found more issues where an entire 5-lane highway was changed to “Primary Road” and random segments are locked.

=( I really need to read about the new permission layering scheme. It seems odd to be that as an area manager, I can’t edit something that was locked by someone else.

Your Permalinks do not have any segments.

Be sure to highlight the segments before you click the Permalink.

You can also include multiple segments.

There is a chart at the bottom of the Support page for Ranks.

Click on the Support tab up top, then type in “Rank” and you can see the segment lock scheme.

(sidenote, I realized that I typed Level 4 above, I’m Level 3. Just read the rank wiki).

And the permalinks take you right to the locked segments on Northfield Blvd that need to be “Minor Highway”.

As much as I travel around East TN and Nashville, I haven’t been to Murfreesboro so I don’t have any first hand familiarity with the area. Before we get too far into this, are we sure these roads are really Minor Highways? Do they have US or TN route numbers? If not, then I am going to have to look at the road network and the TN DOT functional classifications to form an opinion.

In the next hour or so I’ll be hitting the road to Nashville actually. I doubt I will have extra time, but if I do I will try to swing by Murfreesboro at some time to acquire some personal knowledge 😉

I am somewhat familiar with Murfreesboro, as I have been there many times in the past few years. I have visited family that have lived off of the subject road while they were attending MTSU.

I do not recall any highway signage for Northfield Blvd. Furthermore, the TN functional long range planning map for this area located [here](http://www.tdot.state.tn.us/longrange/maps/co19d.pdf) (see inset no. 2) does not indicate that it is a highway.

I would think that it be rated as a primary street. This would be consistent with Highland Ave. and N. Tennessee Blvd., which are also currently identified as primary.
