I recently added “Viaduct Rd” in the Moorabool region near Geelong. I did not link to connecting road “Steiglitz Rd” due to a Level 3 lock. Please review and link Viaduct Road to Steiglitz Road, allowing all turns.
Viaduct Road has multiple paved and unpaved sections as it descends to the valley floor looking out toward the Moorabool Viaduct. Fantastic view to the south, but really just an access road - apparently the proper lookout is on the other side of the valley looking north. The final straight section is significantly rough grade so I’ve marked it as “off-road / not maintained”.

Done.

The speed limits on C141 and C142 in that area haven’t been verified.
This only provides alerts to drivers if they speed, routing uses captures data for each segment.
However its a nice additional edit when editing in an area.

Thanks @GBSpeedy1305, If I was able to verify and document the speed limits on L3 locked roads such as these, what would be the preferred way of achieving the required edits as a level 1 contributor? Would I request unlocks for a set of all adjacent segments between 2 permalinks? In smaller chunks, or just one segment at a time? Or only the segments where the speed limit changes occur? Or am I limited to just give a set of permalinks and speeds for someone else to process?
I’m unsure whether a concept of “gaming the edit system for XP” is an unfortunate reality or expected practice by design, either way I don’t see much incentive from this last option. Having said that, let me assure you I have no desire to begin a campaign of pointless/nuisance XP farming of any sort.

You can request an unlock between two permalinks.
Just means I or someone needs to use a PC to unlock, so it might take a little longer to happen.
But that’s probably easier than creating links for every segment.

PS I named the highways around that intersection per our updated standards.
So you could have a go updating other highways to the same format at the same time.

The Editor doesn’t make it obvious if a locked road need speed limit verifying, there is a tiny icon next to speed limit that you can hover over for information.
