The inner loops of this exit do not exist. Please delete them and modify the turns at the intersection.

Are you saying this based on first hand knowledge, or going by Google Maps?
I only fix things where I have personal knowledge. The Google map was for reinforcement. Google is pretty well keeping up with all the freeway and road construction in Houston.

The only reason I ask, is the roads you’re asking to be deleted were just recently created. Standby.
Jim,
It has been established that what’s on the aerial does not match what is actually there in this thread, which you started, and particpated in, and approved the final lock after you got it the way it’s supposed to be: http://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=622&t=51453&p=463727#p463727
The previous update happened before I looked at Google Maps. I am fairly familiar with US290. I was trying to reconcile the Waze map with the error report and my memory of this interchange. It took a while for me to question the map. This is the worst map error that I have encountered. Finally I looked at Google.
Sorry for all the extra work.
So this means a single loop in each direction for the entrance and exit ramps and all turns enabled at the intersection.

A definite level 1 map editor
The problem is that at least one other local user says that this is the new routing there.
Via my iPhone 4S.
Those loops are 100% correct. I can take pictures since i drive by there everyday. All of my edits are of high quality and I take the time to double check that everything is correct. I take offends to your “definitely a level 1 editor”. Any issues I leave behind Ard due to level 5 locks. And there are plenty. I have been collecting screen shots of garbage that was put on by what are now level 5 editors. So I see how some got to level 5. Pure garbage.
I’ll be glad when Google takes over so we will have better maps for the superior real time traffic
navigation.

The linked page discusses copyright issues that may come up if you copy google maps. However, what is not mentioned is the unreliability of Google’s aerials (or anyone else’s for that matter).
Online aerial images are going to be at least a year old, even if they’ve been recently updated. There are some places where the Google and Bing images are over 5 years old!
Any construction projects that began right after the images were taken could well be complete by now and there is no sign of them on the aerial images.
Yes, as a rule of thumb, you can follow these (Bing) images, however, when you see something drastically different from the images, you do some serious investigation before you touch it. And if you don’t find anything, you still don’t touch it unless you’ve driven it or heard directly from someone who has driven it.
In this case, a simple search turned this up: http://impactnews.com/houston-metro/northwest-houston/construction-at-barker-cypress,-hwy.-290-intersection-to-begin-this-month/
Via my iPhone 4S.
actually, i just check all of your edits and it’s still not correct. if you lower the level to 3 i can fix it, or you can fix it, I really don’t care.
All that is new here are two ramps to reduce the traffic congestion at this intersection. North bound Barker Cypress can now get to 290 west using the new inner loop by turning right at the intersection. You can also go straight or turn left on the original feeder to get to HEB etc.
Those coming from 290 west bound can go south on barker cypress by using the other inner loop. you can only turn right, which is correct.
The roads are correct as the loops are isolated one way ramps with a cement divider, looks like the only thing wrong is you can go straight, turn left or right at the light when NB on Barker Cypress.
The ramps are positioned slightly south of the traffic light so you cannot go straight from ramp to ramp, which is correct.
Thanks, Jeff
Done.
