Level3→L2 Unlocks: TR17 - Old Hume Hwy

Reason for request: I have two segment links below, could someone please spend a little time selecting all the segments in between, including the ramps as I have tried myself but won’t work. I want to fix speed limits mostly, and a couple other things.

Break up the segments you would like unlocked into smaller sections and paste the links that way.

So after stuffing around for an hour to try and break up the links today (not to mention the time wasted during the original post), and then finding the links didn’t select all the segments once opened, I believe I have finally have all the links correct.
My two cents is that I know that everyone prefers permalinks, but for the time I have wasted trying to break up the links today and the day of original post and then go through and ensure they were correct, someone could have spent 2 minutes and 33 seconds (I timed myself) to select them all and just unlock them. :evil:

I guess I did not explain myself clearly as to why I asked someone to select them themselves, but I definitely would have used a link if it was easier than asking someone else to do it.

I know what it is like to have to wait for an unlock request when you are on an editing session. You want to finish off what you have just started and now you have to wait.

We try to process the requests in a reasonable time frame, however we can’t be at a computer all the time. We can do simple requests from a mobile phone, which helps in the wait times for an request to be processed.

As the requesting editor, I don’t think it is too much to supply all the required information for the update/unlock request to the editor who will be unlocking/updating the segments you wish to edit.

Things such as:

• a reason for the request
• a permalink/s to the segment/s
• times and dates of restrictions or closures to be added, instead of a link to a website or a PDF
  As per the unlock forum rules, which is at the top of every page in the AU Unlock and Update Requests section of the forum.

2. Include a Permalink to the segment(s) you wish to unlock or have updated.
3. Provide a short explanation of why you need the unlock or update done.
4. Include your editor rank

Please note that a higher level editor may choose to fix an unlock request themselves so higher value segments will remain protected at their level.

Please read number 2 of the forum rules.

In this case:
The road name, suburb and type changes multiple times - TR17 - Old Hume Hwy, TR17 - Main St, B73 - Main St, B73 - Old Hume Hwy for 25kms.
You would like ramps to be unlocked as well.

Various factors such as internet speeds, time the browser takes to load, computer issues all add up the time it takes.

Try selecting the segments between the two permalinks, from the first post, from a phone and see how long or easy it is without a proper permalink.

Even doing this from a PC it has still taken me at least 30 minutes, if not more, to do for you, and this is only one request in the unlock forum.
