# Level3 unlock: California - Saratoga

Please unlock to L2 so I can connect this driveway and move the HN for 14301 closer to Saratoga Ave. This address is misrouting to Brookside Cir (wrong side of the creek and off a completely different main road). I am R2.
[Edit: Strangely, the new driveway I wanted to connect has disappeared (deleted by another editor?). No notice or update to the UR I am working here, so not sure who or why.]

I’ve dropped the one segment of Saratoga Ave to 2, so you can adjust house numbers. The HN in question is not active, so the problem is not how far off the road it is located; it must rather be the location of the Google Pin. Activating the HN should render the location of the Google Pin moot.
Adding driveways is tricky because of their potential to distort routing to adjacent destinations, the additional clutter on the map, and the example they set for other editors. We definitely do add driveways in certain circumstances, but at first glance I’m not sure this situation qualifies. The current wiki article on Driveways is located [here](https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Driveways).
I haven’t reviewed the UR in much depth. Perhaps you’ll see something in the Driveways article that does indeed support a driveway here?
In any event getting the HN activated will help. Then of course one must tell the reporter to remove past lookups of the address, since his/her instance of the Waze app will otherwise keep the Google Pin until judgement day.

Thanks, Bill. This segment [https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-122.02870&lat=37.26073&layers=933&zoom=8&segments=5337899](https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-122.02870&lat=37.26073&layers=933&zoom=8&segments=5337899) can be re-locked to L3. I moved the HN to the building at the front of the property and set the Stop point to the driveway entrance (also activated two nearby HNs that might have had the same problem). I left the driveway out for now - I suspect that activating the HN in this location will solve the routing problem. I used your boilerplate text to tell the Reporter how to “clear the cache”. I also tweaked some PLR segments nearby to try to prompt a tile update. Hopefully they were in the right tile…
