DelDOT just installed two red light cameras at the intersection of US 202 (Concord Pike) and Silverside Road outside of Wilmington.
The cameras are now shown on Waze. However, there is a camera reported for US 202 southbound thru traffic, whereas the camera only faces traffic using a island slip ramp to turn left to Silverside Road. I looked for any concrete bases for additional cameras for thru traffic but could not find one. My guess is the accident point is where 202 NB and Silverside intersect, hence only two approach cameras. Can someone relocate the southbound camera so it alerts for the correct directional traffic?
