Lock Level Standard Practice Update?

Any updates of the lock level standards yet? This in is in the reguards to all freeways being locked to lvl 5 as standard practice and such. The other thread is pretty stale.

I’m in an area that doesn’t have any local active lvl-5’s and it sucks. We’ve got major construction that changes ramp closures weekly and we get things like this that really blows.

You know, if the whole area from 100 over to 65 was lowered down to level 3 locks, we have enough locals happy enough to keep the area up to date. Then Waze can show it’s real power of being up to date and providing usefull directions. Lately Waze is useless in this area. But if some CM is just going to come back thru and put them back up to lvl 5, I won’t bother to keep it up to date.

Or is there any way I can jet get a bump to lvl 5 so I can fix it myself :smiley: . I have no plans for any mass editing that would ever get me to lvl-5 since the Google takeover, because I’m betting eventually the map database will be switched over to Google’s.

Did you talk to your regional coordinator? There’s one for each part of the country depending on what state you’re in. That’s probably your best bet aside from just requesting unlocks on a case-by-case basis here.

I’ll drop the locks to 3 once the construction is complete be sure to request return to Lv 5, Freeways are going to remain lvl 5 locks for the time being.

Also I noticed that bigbear3764 has been working the closures. PM him with updates for anything I miss on the unlocks.
