Hello Senior Editors,

Please apply temporary event closures for the weekday NYC DOT Trick-or-Streets activation in Brooklyn.

- Location: Underhill Avenue completely closed to vehicular traffic between Sterling Place and St. Johns Place (Prospect Heights Open Street plaza).

- City/Borough/State: Brooklyn, Kings County, NY

- Date: Thursday, October 22, 2026

- Timeframe: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (After-school community trick-or-treating and seasonal programming)

- Reason: NYC DOT Trick-or-Streets Safe Pedestrian Activation

- Official Verification: Documented on the official NYC DOT citywide Trick-or-Streets seasonal portal ([https://nyc.gov](https://nyc.gov)).

Thank you for updating the map to safeguard local trick-or-treaters and route Brooklyn drivers cleanly around the Underhill Ave corridor blocks this Thursday afternoon!

Much like the other thread, all Trick-or-Streets closures based on [this](https://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/pedestrians/trickorstreets.shtml) source have been sent to the Waze closure team to assist with applying to the map.
